Pemain depan Josh Hart mengingatkan timnya untuk waspada karena Cavaliers akan tampil dengan urgensi tinggi pada laga berikutnya.

"They're going to come out with extreme energy, attention to detail, focus, sense of urgency and desperation," kata Hart.

Menurut Hart, Cavaliers akan menganggap Game 1 sebagai kemenangan yang lepas dari genggaman mereka.

"They're looking at it like that was our game that we gave away," tutur Hart.

Bagi Cleveland Cavaliers, kekalahan ini merupakan yang ketujuh di postseason setelah melewati dua seri penuh tujuh game.

Garda Donovan Mitchell yang mencetak 29 poin menyatakan kekalahan ini baru permulaan dari seri best-of-seven.

"We've had some tough ones, but it's one loss," ujar Mitchell.

Ia menilai hasil ini tidak memberikan keuntungan berlipat bagi lawan.

"It's not like that loss gives them two or three games. It's one.

So we have an opportunity to come back here in two days and steal one here," ucap Mitchell.

Senter Jarrett Allen menegaskan komitmen tim untuk menunjukkan respons positif.

"Just understanding that we didn't have the best effort (Tuesday) night, we didn't have the best outcome," kata Allen.

Ia memastikan daya juang Cleveland akan langsung terlihat dari cara mereka memulai pertandingan pada Kamis mendatang.
